Amazon Redshift

Amazon Redshift is a cloud-based data collection and storage service. Amazon Redshift makes it possible for a customer to use business intelligence, or BI, techniques to evaluate quantitative data and make managing large-scale datasets simpler. In Redshift, Big Red refers to Oracle, whose official color is red.

To get a broader understanding of some information, you can feed data from various sources into Redshift. This is called an off-the-shelf approach. For example, many businesses store their customer relationship management information in the sales team. Data from the sales team links with the Redshift database to understand client behavior trends, gain insight into sales opportunities, and optimize marketing strategies.
