Excellent environment. Very knowledgeable co-workers and managers. They are also on the cutting edge in technology, incorporating new designs and ideas in all products. Management is easy to contact and the company itself is very open.
Technology infrastructure is mature, many senior devs hanging around who are willing to teach and share their experience.
Employees and consultants are treated pretty much the same. If you're doing any kind of IT work, everyone is pretty much standardized and work is delegated based on technology and business experience. If you want to get the "best" work, you have to know everything about it beforehand.
One of the most prestigious investments banks in IT area to work for; relatively high end software development; higher management willingness to invest in technology; relatively good peer-peer relationship (of course that varies from team to team, dept to dept)
Come in, do your job, go home. Hours are reasonable (8:30-6), so this place is good for people with children who want to go home to their wife.
